Doon Valley Fact:
It wasn't a golf ball!
On July 12, 1998, Orville Delong and his fellow golfers picked up a rock near the sixth tee of Doon Valley Golf Course, located at 500 Doon Valley Dr. They had heard something falling while they were on the links but they didn't see the rock until it hit the ground.
Weighing 202 grams, the rock became known as the Kitchener meteorite, and was analyzed by Prof. John Rucklidge at the University of Toronto. Pieces of it are kept at both the National Meteorite Collection at the Geological Survey of Canada and in the Department of Geology at the University of Toronto.

Booking instructions
To make booking tee times easier for our clients, we use a third party automated booking tool, called Jencess. The tool will prompt you to fill in your details in the following order:
- Choose how you are logging in - as a member or a guest.
- Enter the name you want your booking to appear under.
- Club Assistant Menu - either book your tee time or cancel a previously booked tee time or player.
- Search a calendar for available dates and times; enter any other player names.
Once you have filled in the necessary information, select the "search" function and Jencess will search available tee times and provide the closest match to your request.
