The Diamond Courses
Doon Valley 18-hole Course. This 18-hole course offers a spectacular setting, with several surrounded by expansive natural wetlands or running along the edge of the Grand River. This mature and scenic course, which has recently undergone extensive renovations, is one of the best and most challenging public course layouts in the area - and not surprisingly, one of the most popular in southwestern Ontario.
Rockway Golf Course. An oasis in the heart of the city the historic, Stanley Thompson-designed Rockway Golf Course offers sculpted fairways and lush greens hidden away by a mature urban forest. This conveniantly located and beautifully landscaped 18-hole, par 70 course has long been recognized as one of the most enjoyable public courses in the region.
The Gold Course
Doon Valley 9-hole Course. Players of all skill levels will enjoy this picturesque, full-length, 9-hole course - featuring some of the most scenic and fun to play holes in the region.
Those who enjoy parkland tranquility and those looking to enhance their game on an easy-to=-walk course will not be disappointed.
9-Hole Pitch & Putt
Work on your short game. Whether you're a complete beginner or you're an experienced golfer wanting to improve your short game, Doon's brand new Pitch 'n Putt course is perfect for you. The new 9-hole course, featuring shorter holes and less hazards, caters to beginners and those who just want to try golf, without the anxiety of playing a full-length course.
2012 Membership Renewal
Kitchener Golf’s 2012 memberships are now on sale! In 2011 Kitchener Golf reintroduced unlimited play memberships and for the first time ever rolled out power cart memberships. Both these changes were tremendously successful and as a result will be continued in 2012! In fact, as an added bonus you will be able to take advantage of the “early bird” golf membership savings at the 2011 rates if you register before December 15th 2011.
Kitchener Golf’s comprehensive membership packages enable golfers of all ages the opportunity to enjoy a full range of exciting golf products. By purchasing a full or weekday membership you are granted unlimited playing privileges at all the “Kitchener Golf” facilities including Rockway Golf Club along with the 18 hole course and the classic 9 hole course at Doon Valley Club. The value-packed “Classic 9” membership provides unlimited playing privileges on the 9 hole course at Doon Valley while allowing the member to pay $18.14 (plus HST) to play the 18 hole courses anytime.
The power cart membership fees will be increased slightly in 2012 to reflect increasing costs and we have added a single rider fee to align with our non member carts, however we believe cart memberships are still a great value!
By purchasing a Kitchener Golf Membership you will continue to get exclusive access to the following:
- computerized on site handicap system
- member events organized by the proshop
- member discounts on proshop products
- member discounts on lessons offered by the new Kitchener Golf Academy
Your membership contract and rules and regulations are attached. You will see a payment plan is available where members can pay 50% now with the balance due by March 1st 2012.
Memberships can be renewed in person starting Tuesday October 11th at Rockway Golf Course, Mon-Fri 9:00-12:00, & 1:00-4:30pm or can be mailed to 625 Rockway Dr, Kitchener, N2G 3B5.
