Membership
- Membership at Doon Valley or Rockway shall be seasonal and shall be made by a membership contract Signed by the applicant and subject to the approval of the Kitchener Community Services Department.
- A seasonal membership allows the applicant to utilize the facilities from the date of official opening to the date of official closing as established by management.
- Members shall not be permitted to utilize the facilities when the course is closed.
- The applicant’s signature on the membership contract indicates agreement to comply with the terms and conditions as set out in the "Rules and Regulations."
- Players must not start on the 10th Tee without permission from the Pro Shop.
- The Kitchener Community Services Department reserves the right to cancel a membership for conduct unbecoming a member of the course, or non-adherence to Rules and Regulations.
- Junior (12-18 years old), Intermediate (19-35 years old) and Senior Citizen (65+) memberships will be accepted upon applicant’s certified attainment of qualifying birthday in each respective category, depending on availability. Qualification for continuation in Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories shall be determined by the applicant’s age as of April 1st of the current season. A photocopy of birth certificate or drivers license will be required. Pitch n’ Putt memberships are available for ages 5-11.
- A Full Membership allows playing privileges any day of the week during the golf season.
- A Weekday Membership allows playing privileges Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.
- Classic 9 membership allows playing privileges on the 9-hole course only anyday of the week during the golf season (upgrade fee required to play the 18-hole courses)
- With respect to cart memberships a new single rider fee has been established, however the club reserves the right to pair up players at all times. Carts can be reserved 7 days in advance with tee time upon availability.
Rules of Play
- All players must register at the Pro Shop 15 minutes prior to your tee time
- Reserved starting times are available each day. Refer to printed notices or contact Pro Shop for procedure to secure reservation.
- The name of all players must be recorded when reserving tee times. Incomplete foursomes will be filled whenever possible.
- Failure to cancel a reserved tee time within 24 hours may result in suspension of membership, or assessment of applicable full value green fee.
- Players must not start on the 10th Tee without permission from the Pro Shop.
- Marshalls have full authority to control play.
- There is no guarantee of tee time availability. A fair tee time distribution system is in place at each golf course.

Hours of Play

- No player shall be permitted to tee-off prior to the first official starting time of each day.
Juniors
- Junior members of Kitchener Golf may tee off Monday through Friday anytime before 5pm, Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays after 2:30pm. (after 2pm on weekends after Labour Day)
Dress Code
- Golfers must be properly attired at all times on premises, including the clubhouse
- Shirts with collars and sleeves are required for male golfers. Mesh shirts, muscle shirts, any attire with offensive writing or graphics are not permitted. For ladies, halter-tops and tube tops are similarly inappropriate.
- Bermuda style or shorts with a 5 inch inseam are acceptable, gym shorts or cutoffs are not.
- Track and sweat pants are not preferred.
- Soccer and baseball shoes and boots are not permitted on the course.
- The discretion of Management is to be respected
Turf Care Regulations
- Replace divots and repair ball marks on green
- Rake sand traps
- Be cautious with flagpoles on greens
- Avoid causing turf damage with practice swings
- Keep power carts at lease 10 meters from the greens and travel in the rough whenever possible
- Keep pull carts off the greens and tees
General
- The opening and closing of the golfing season shall be at the discretion of management, and may not be the same at both courses.
- Persons found damaging Course property will have membership privileges suspended immediately.
- Personal property is brought upon Course premises solely at the risk of the person and the Course shall not be responsible or liable to the member /or guest for any loss thereof or damage thereto.
- Pets are not allowed in the Clubhouse or on the grounds.
- Power carts are available for rent through the Pro Shop. Use may be totally or partially restricted due to inclement weather or turf conditions at the discretion of management.
- Golf Courses will be used at the persons own risk. The City is not liable for damages or injury, except where caused solely by the negligence of the City
- Golf clubs, golf carts and caddy carts are not permitted in the Clubhouse. Facilities for the storage of clubs and carts are available at the Pro Shop.
- No member or guest shall bring alcohol on the premises or course. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is only permitted in licenced areas.
- In accordance with Waterloo Region Bylaw #96-055 all indoor facilities are smoke free.
- Golf attire must adhere to Official Dress Code.
- Any changes which may be made in the Rules and Regulations from time to time will be posted
- Corporate tournament bookings will be are posted; check this schedule before arranging tee times.
- Green Fee players and members not adhering to these Rules and Regulations will be denied the use of both clubhouses and the golf courses.
Resignation
- A member wishing to withdraw from the Course must submit a resignation in writing to Management. No refunds will be given after June 1. Consideration will be given for serious medical conditions with a doctor’s note. The decision of the Kitchener Community Services Department shall be final in all cases involving the obligations of the resigning member to the Course.
