Doon Valley - 18 Hole Course
- A relatively easy par 4 starting hole to begin your round. A gentle dogleg to the left that may not require a Driver from the tee.
- The second hole is a demanding par 3 with a long green that runs away and to the right. This affords a lot of varying pin positions that can stretch this hole by as many as 3 clubs from the tee. Totally surrounded by trees and guarded by bunkers, a par is a very good score
- This beautiful par 4 will make you think twice from the tee. Hazard up the right side requires a tee shot placed in the center or right center. This opens the hole for a short shot to a deceptively small looking target.
- A long par 3 that will usually play into the prevailing wind. Pick the proper tee because this hole could be a scorecard killer with the river on the right and bunkers and marsh on the left.
- A long par 4 with some risk reward aspects. A long tee shot down the right side will carry a cross bunker leaving 150 yards to a well bunkered green.
- With the addition of new tees this is a true three shot par 5. A big sweeping dog leg to the left will require some well placed shots to make a par.
- Fairly short par 4 with a narrow driving area and a bunkered and sloping green.
- This par 4 may not require a Driver from the tee. A well placed 200 tee shot in the center or left center will leave a short iron into a secluded target.
- A par five that from the tee looks quite daunting. Once leaving the tee it is evident that the landing area is quite generous. Although errant shots may find a pond on the right or deep fescue on the left. A well played lay up leaves a short iron into a large subtle green.
- A relatively straightforward mid length par 4. A tee shot that finds the fairway will leave a short approach.
- A great par 3 set against a beautiful natural area. A small water hazard guards the front right of the green. Three is a good score.
- A mid-length par 4 that could be attacked with a Driver or played less stressfully with a Fairway wood or hybrid. The fairway will feed balls to the left toward a water hazard.
- A picturesque par 4 doglegging to the right. Pick a target and hit your best shot. Once again an aggressive play may lead to a short shot into the green, an errant shot will be penalized.
- A par 4 where a tee shot that finds this generous fairway will leave a mid to short iron shot to a secluded green.
- The tee shot is framed beautifully from the back tee on this par 4 hole. Take a look even if it’s not your tee. There is plenty of fairway to the right which will leave the proper angle to approach a green guarded on the left by an over hanging tree.
- A good par 5 tree-lined from the tee leaving the golfer hitting uphill for their second and third shots. The green is long causing clubbing problems if the pin is in the back of the green.
- A demanding par 3 running along the Grand River. The wind is often a factor on this hole hitting to a long narrow green guarded by bunkers.
- A finishing par 5. A tee shot in the fairway is required if the golfer is to get close to the green with their second shot. The hole doglegs right along the river with trees lining the right side. A tee shot played to the right side of the fairway will be blocked by the trees requiring a lay up. The green is elevated and quite fast when putting from back to front.
